Hi All
Can anyone suggest a way to find out if my 2006 Escalade with an M32 4L60EHD transmission has an Input speed sensor (ISS)?
I've read that M32 was for early 4L65Es and that for Cadillac they were described as 4L60EHDs (which is how the 2006 RPO list describes it)
I can't find the cut in date for the ISS sensor. Maybe all 4L60EHDs and all 4L65Es got ISS?
Here's why:
I've got a 2006 Envoy and a spare 4L60E for it.
I've purchased a 2006 Escalade.
I need to know if I can upgrade the spare Envoy 4L60E to work in the Escalade. I know there are some hard parts like shafts and planetaries that would need changing but if the vehicle is expecting an ISS signal and I install a trans that doesn't provide it I'll be in trouble. I'm having a really hard time finding out if the trans in my 2006 has an ISS
If this spare trans can be upgraded to work in the Escalade I can sell the Envoy tomorrow and rebuild the spare 4l60E later. If not I need to either sell the trans with the Envoy or rebuild it right away and swap it into the car before selling.
