While putting the pump into my 4l60e I started bolting it down so that it would sink into the transmission. While driving in the bolts the entire pump would pop and slip down into the transmission, making it easy to tighten the bolts. That happened a total of 3 times while tightening it down. Did I fuck it up? Is that normal? My guess is that it was either the 2 nylon seals slipping into place or out of place while bolting it up. I don't think they slipped out of place because I couldn't see them through the valve body.
