Broken - BRACKET, FRT S/D A/RST BASE(PART OF 5, 14)

My grandson told me yesterday that something was wrong with the (front passenger) door, he had to put the handle back in place after closing it.

I hadn't noticed it but kids aren't gentle on cars so I took a look and found that the door handle bracket was broken, on both front doors.

Luckily the pieces were still there so It wasn't difficult for me to fabricate new ones out of metal (an old desktop PC side cover) but I forgot to take pics :confused:

I think he means more the bracket that hold the door pull handle, not the unlatching handle. This eBay seller has custom made brackets if that interests you:

Yes, that part. I made them from metal as they should have been from the beginning.

My 04 Envoy only has the front ones, the rear brackets are part of the door panel not seperate parts.
